Your account is protected by two-factor authentication, and you can choose between four available methods.
When logging into your 401GO account for the first time, you will be asked if you want to set up a two-factor authentication code, which provides added security for your 401(k) account. This is highly recommended, but you may opt not to do it. To start the process, answer yes or no to the prompt, or choose to have it remind you later.
To set up your two-factor authentication code go to the lower left corner under the menu. You can see the icon highlighted in yellow in the picture below. Click on the padlock icon, “Two-Step Authentication” and a window will open on the right of the screen that says, “Select an Authentication Method.” You will have four choices. Choose the option that best suits you and click on the “Set as active” box to the right of your choice.
Each time you log into your account, you will be asked to enter the two-factor authentication code. You can choose to have the system remember the code for 30 days by clicking the box below your code on the sign-in page.
