Begin the process of moving an existing plan and assets from an old provider to 401GO.
If your company has an existing 401(k) plan with another provider, you will need to transfer your plan to 401GO. Our Conversions team will assist with this process. To begin, you need to complete the form under Menu > Transfer your 401(k) to 401GO.
You will need:
- 401(k) provider name (this is the company name)
- 401 (k) provider address
- 401(k) provider contact name
- Contact email
- Contact phone
- Prior 401(k) plan name (this is usually “[your company name] 401(k) plan”)
- Prior plan contract number
Once this information is submitted, you will have the option to upload your company logo for the letterhead.
Next, the system will create and provide a letter for you to download and send to your prior provider. If you chose not to include your company logo, place the letter on your company letterhead before sending it.
